Yes! That is the house that Sal and Dad bought when they got married. It was super cool (to a kid) with a rambling floor plan. I never heard Sal or Dad refer fondly to that house so I imagine from a grownup perspective it left much to be desired. There was a sort tree mural painted on the wall in the kitchen. Ken's bedroom had a room beyond it where it seems like there was a tv. I remember watching the 1968 presidential election returns in that room probably with Ken. We were left at home alone for awhile that night and I think that we made "body art" to show our support for Hubert Humphrey and danced around like Rowan and Martin's Laugh In dancers. (They had words body-arted on to them.)

Dad took up Chinese calligraphy and Chinese painting in that house - Sal was either also doing it or very supportive, I can't remember which. This won't surprise you but Dad was very, very good at it and totally obsessed. His Chinese calligraphies and flower studies were pinned up all over the downstairs.

See the BMW? That was Dad's pride and joy when he bought it.
